I bet there aren't many tripe shops left.

    There is one in the inside market of the Clarendon at Hyde run by Jack Curvis - he gets customers coming from Buxton and beyond for his pigs trotters

    Some consider it a delicacy.
    My mum used to go all the way to Blackburn to get it for my gran who ate it with lots of vinegar and appreciative noises.
